Re-Elect Jeff McLaughlin 2014 - Jeff McLaughlin District 27
JEFF'S MESSAGE

The Arab Tribune - March 2009

It took some finagling and hardball politics, but Rep. Jeff McLaughlin did the right thing in his fight to return $6 million in annual TVA in-lieu-of-tax payments to the people of North Alabama. Several years ago, through his leadership, he formed the bipartisan Tennessee Valley Caucus to stop Atlanta, Birmingham and others from pumping water from our natural water shed. Now this same group, again through McLaughlin’s efforts, ignored party politics to do what was right for the people they represent. And that’s a job well done.
